Count of Beads Per Inch
Use this chart to estimate how many beads you will need for a strand or project length. Find the approximate number of beads per inch for your bead size, then multiply that number by the desired strand length.
Use this reference to help you calculate how many beads you need for your jewelry project.
Example: A strand made with 6mm beads uses approximately 4.24 beads per inch. For an 18" strand, you would need about 77 beads (18 � 4.24 = 76.32).
