Travel back to prehistoric times with this fun beaded Stegosaurus keychain made with pony beads and cord. With its long body, little legs and unmistakable row of plates along its back, this dinosaur is easy to recognize and fun to personalize. 2. Begin weaving the beads onto the cord following the pattern at the top of the page. You can click on the image for a larger, better resolution photo.
3. After finishing the pattern tie a double knot in the cords at the bottom and apply tacky glue to secure.
4. Three or four beads can be strung onto the end of each cord as a finishing touch (This is optional and not included in the bead count in your material list.)
5. Weave your wire or pipe cleaner through your beaded stegosaur dinosaur keychain to make it stiffer and hold it's shape.
(Seed beads or E beads can be used in place of pony beads to create smaller characters.)
